Banana Wind Hawaii

Aloha! Banana Wind is a home accent and gift store located in Lahaina, Maui Hawaii; A store filled with unique items from all around the World. Nina travels with her children, Zeb and Marley, to places far away...working with villages, families, and artisans to create items just for their store. All the items are inspired by their life on Maui, so everything has that Hawaiiana touch. Because many natural resources and materials found in Hawaii are not sustainable or even prohibited to collect from the islands, the family makes sure to use materials found sustainably in other parts of the world, and at the same time helping individual families from all over... This guarantees a store filled with Eco-friendly, sustainble unique items found no where else. Items include home accent pieces, such as baskets, artwork, candles, incense, jewelry, ceramics, wood carvings, and picture frames. And they also boast Hawaii's largest sea shell collection- filled with shells that can be found in Hawaii, but not sustainable to collect from there. All the shells are non-endangered and only harvested for food, or previously expired. Everything in Banana Wind has it's own story... Where it came from, what it's made of, what makes it unique, or what inspiration it was drawn from.
